The Erie Canal ran through the heart of downtown Syracuse. Photos like this are featured each month along with contemporary color photos of Syracuse and neighboring areas (see above photos).

Normajean — Syracusan and national award-winning photographer, graphic and web designer, writer, and originator of "The Scenes of Syracuse Calendar" — travels around Syracuse and Central New York recording the good and beautiful things she sees through her Nikon camera lens.

No people appear in the photographs because the pictures represent scenic tapestries against which people live, worship, work, and play.

Bill Bader — As Director of Sales for Reflected Images, Inc., Bill is enthusiastic about the response he has received from introducing "The Scenes of Syracuse Calendar" to area schools who will sell the calendar as a fund-raiser for their various groups, i.e. clubs, bands, color guards, sports, etc. The schools will also receive $$$$ from online sales if the school's name is entered on the order form.
